This original Victorian ‘copperplate’ print had not weathered the years well. It was bent, scratched, chipped
and stained with various unknown substances. The many major and minor surface defects were meticulously
corrected ‘by hand’ using digital editing software. Lastly, contrast and brightness were corrected.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to make the sitters look any happier!
